Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all sales of goods and services by Milanto Coffee. By placing an order or accepting a quote, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. About us

Milanto Coffee is a UK-based commercial bean-to-cup machine supplier operating as a partnership. We supply, install, and support Dr Coffee fully automatic bean-to-cup machines for commercial environments across the UK. You can contact us at sales@milantocoffee.com or 07738 153035.

All prices are stated exclusive of VAT. Milanto Coffee is not currently VAT registered; no VAT will be charged on your invoice.

2. Quotes

All quotes issued by Milanto Coffee are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. Quotes are based on information provided by you at the time of enquiry. If your requirements change after a quote is issued, we reserve the right to revise the quote accordingly.

A quote does not constitute a binding contract. A contract is formed only when we issue a written order confirmation following your acceptance of a quote.

3. Orders

Orders may be placed by accepting a quote in writing (by email or otherwise). We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, in which case any payment received will be refunded in full.

Once an order is confirmed, any changes requested by you may affect the price and delivery timescale. We will notify you of any such changes before proceeding.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon receipt of invoice, which will be issued once your order has been processed and confirmed. Invoices are payable by BACS bank transfer to the account details shown on the invoice. We do not accept cash payments.

If payment is not received within the agreed period, we reserve the right to place the order on hold until payment is made. We may charge statutory interest on overdue invoices in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

5. Delivery and installation

We will agree a delivery and installation date with you following order confirmation. Dates given are estimates. While we will make every reasonable effort to meet agreed dates, we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to supply chain issues, courier delays, or restricted site access.

You are responsible for ensuring the installation site is prepared and accessible on the agreed date, including:

  • A suitable mains power connection of the correct specification.
  • A clean, pressurised water supply and drainage point within reach of the machine.
  • Adequate space as specified in the machine's technical sheet.
  • Clear and safe access for our engineers.

If site conditions prevent installation on the agreed date through no fault of our own, we may charge a reasonable call-out fee for any rescheduled visit.

6. Warranty

All Dr Coffee machines supplied by Milanto Coffee are covered by a 12-month manufacturer's warranty from the date of installation. During the warranty period, we will repair or replace any part that fails due to a manufacturing defect, at no cost to you.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Faults caused by failure to follow the recommended daily cleaning and maintenance routine.
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or unauthorised modification or repair.
  • Consumable parts subject to normal wear, including brew groups, seals, milk lines, and filters.
  • Damage caused by using inappropriate coffee beans, cleaning products, or water hardness outside the machine's specified range.
  • Faults arising from inadequate water supply, power supply issues, or unsuitable installation conditions.

To make a warranty claim, contact us at sales@milantocoffee.com with a description of the fault and, where possible, photos or video. We will assess the claim and respond within 2 business days.

7. Service contracts

We may offer optional service agreements for machines supplied by us. Unless separately agreed in writing, Milanto does not provide scheduled site visits to refill beans, milk powder, hot chocolate, or other consumables, or general "stocking" of your machine. Site attendance relates to installation, commissioning, and addressing faults or other technical issues (including manufacturer warranty coordination where applicable).

Where a service agreement or extended cover is purchased, its scope — including any expressly listed preventative maintenance visits — will be set out in a separate agreement at purchase or renewal. Service agreements may be renewable annually where offered; if not renewed, repairs outside warranty are quoted on a case-by-case basis.

8. Cancellations and returns

As our machines are commercial equipment sourced and configured to your specification, we are unable to accept returns other than in the following circumstances:

  • The machine is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect that cannot be remedied under warranty.
  • The machine arrives visibly damaged. Any delivery damage must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photographs.

If you wish to cancel an order after confirmation, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible. If the machine has already been ordered from our supplier, we reserve the right to recover any costs we have reasonably incurred. If the machine has not yet been ordered, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund of any payment made.

9. Limitation of liability

Our total liability to you in respect of any order, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall not exceed the total price paid by you for the goods or services giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of data, or business interruption, however arising.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to Milanto Coffee. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any content from this website without our prior written permission.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or from a transaction with us shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time your order is confirmed will apply to that order. We recommend checking this page periodically for updates.
